A wireless leak sensor will warn you about a water leak in time and help preserve your property. If you automate turning off water in an emergency, you will be able to completely avoid costs.
How does it work
At the bottom of the sensor there are two metal contacts. When they touch water, the sensor sends a signal to JetHub. It turns on the alarm and sends an alert to the smartphone.
The wireless sensor is protected from dust and moisture. The protection standard is IP67. This means complete protection from dust and protection from water when submerged to a depth of 1 meter for up to half an hour.
If you add a smart plug or switch to the sensor, it can control the valve through which water flows. Then the smart home will not only report an accident, but also shut off the water.
